The Humane World for Animals - formerly called the Humane Society of the United States and Humane Society International - is registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works in the animal protection movement, tackling the root causes of animal cruelty and suffering to drive permanent change and create a better world for all animals around the globe.
The Humane World for Animals is creating a better future for animals and people through advocacy, education, and hands-on programmes. They address issues such as inhumane practices and conditions affecting companion and farm animals, fur production, illegal trade in wildlife, threats to endangered species, slaughter of marine mammals, bullfighting and the use of animals in research and testing.
